Welcome to Future World Missions! Thank you for visiting and your support! Everything is going great in Blantyre, Malawi and everyone is staying busy. The children at Future Care Center are being loved on and learning from our amazing team of teachers. We have several fields of crops that are thriving to help provide food stores. Just like here in the Unites States, all of the prices have sky-rocketed making it even more difficult to obtain needed resources.

The picture of the lady above is Mrs. Jessie. She left this earth to be with Jesus about a year or so ago. Mrs. Jessie is a precious lady who we would visit and spend time with on every trip. She was so full of life! We would laugh, sing and dance with her when we were with her. We assisted her with food, that you see in the picture, oil and other needs. She was always so appreciative. She will be greatly missed!

Below are some the latest happenings in Malawi. God is so amazing and faithful! He knows our every need before we even do!

Fertilizer was provided and people were employed to weed crops which will help provide food for FCC children and others.

Since December of 2020 we have been helping this family of children. At that time Biziwick informed that these 5 children lived alone. Thier mother is deceased, and their fathers are unknown. This past year, Isaac, the youngest, passed away due to Malaria. This broke my heart. This picture taken in December of 2020 is a picture of blankets and food that we provided. We have had to stop them many times from exchanging their blankets for food. We still provide food and needs on a monthly basis as resources are available.

Future Care Center school was granted Spirit of Cleanliness during the School Cleanliness Tour Campaign. The school has running water which helps to provide water to many in the surrounding area. We provide lunch from Monday thru Thursday to all the school children and staff. They are out half a day Fridays. It takes approximately $125 per week to feed over 100 children and workers. Our teachers are Atupele, Eliza, Frank, Anderson, Rajab, and Maliana, who has served faithfully for 13 years! Annie is our cook who is assisted by Jessie, who was recently married and expecting their first child, and Dziwanji. We provide the salaries for the teachers and cooks as well. Each salary is less than $70 per month and it is based on their job and length of service.

A plot of land has been donated by Chief Mvahiwa in the Phalombe District for a church to be built for the people in that district. Phalombe is one of the locations where revival was held, and many were led to Jesus on past trips. The people in the community have been working tirelessly to make and burn their own bricks to help build the church. There are still many needs to accomplish this task. The stick building you see is where they are currently holding worship until the church can be built.

An induction ceremony was held for Eric and Elles Chiwinja, the pastor of Future City Baptist Church and his wife. He has served faithfully as an interim pastor for a few years now. Future City Baptist was completed in 2017.

They have been able to purchase two cows and one is due to have a baby in a few weeks. They are hoping to be able to get milk and sell it for profit. These cows eat ALOT!

Several years ago we had completed a building to house chickens. The attempt at raising chickens was challenging and more expensive than previously thought. However, the building has still been put to good use. Recently terrible rains came through this area and wiped out many of the homes which were only built with bricks and sand. Cement is too expensive for many which is what is needed to ensure a sturdy home that won’t wash away. This is not the first time the building has been used for emergency shelter.

The Future Care women were able to travel to Lilongwe to provide food and resources to a hospitalized friend with no means of getting what she needed. Healthcare is different in Malawi compared to the US. The family has to provide the patient with food while they are hospitalized.

Clothing: Uniforms for the school children are always a need. We are also looking to provide all the children with clothing other than the uniforms because they are wearing out the uniforms due to lack of something else to wear. We can purchase bundles of clothing at a reasonable price.

We Provide food and oil for the elderly and widows in the area.

Just like anywhere, the needs are endless. There are so many ways to help! The people of Malawi are so precious, kind, loving, and appreciative. Biziwick and Violet and always reaching out to the community and ministering to anyone they can. Their hearts are big and wide, and they serve the Lord passionately! Recently, they even held a day of prayer and fasting for people that we know here in the United States who don’t know Jesus and are experiencing some difficult circumstances. They did this not even knowing who these people are. There was a group of 7 of them that joined Biziwick and Violet and each have taken a name and will continue to pray for them. Thier devotion is truly an example to me! My heart is convicted daily, and I learn from them way more than I can ever give back. Biziwick is currently pastoring at our newly founded Future Joy Baptist Church, and they are meeting in a rented government school class. One day the Lord will provide the exact location and resources needed to advance. Biziwick and I have agreed that what matters most is the condition of our hearts not the location of our bodies or how fancy the building is.

There are so many more things going on in Malawi!! More than I can list or that we will ever know. God’s hand is at work daily to transform lives for His kingdom!!

Thank you again for your love and support!! If you feel led to give, please visit our donate tab above or contact us for ways that you can help. Unfortunately shipping items to them is very expensive so that is not a possibility.
